Goodness gracious, tomorrow begins February! Have you stuck to your New Year’s resolutions?
My New Year’s resolution hasn’t gone perfectly. But I suppose that’s part of the point of mine, too. I’m learning to let go of the idea of perfectionism and to be kinder and gentler on myself. So what if I’m not super-organized with my schedule. I’ll try a little harder, use my fresh new planner, but if I forget to write something down or have to reschedule? It is ohhhh-kay. It doesn’t mean I’ve failed if I look at it from a perspective of “what can I learn from this?”
Then learn from it and move the fudge on.
I have to remind myself, just as with a fitness plan, you don’t have to wait to have a do-over tomorrow. It doesn’t have to be January 1st. It can be this new moment that’s right here waiting for you.
You can hit the refresh anytime. So here’s your reminder to go out there with a fresh start. Sometimes, all it takes is a change in your perspective.
I also can’t wait to share with you how I inadvertently started a six-week nutrition and workout challenge. Whoops! Hehe. I wasn’t quite prepared for the four-day-a-week commitment, but I’m doing it, and I’m almost halfway! Stay tuned for that article in the coming weeks. What were your resolutions and how are they going?
